Prada America Cup's Party in Valencia

Valencia turned into one big party when Miuccia Prada and Patrizio Bertelli hosted a star-studded event for 2,000 guests in the city’s indoor Mercado Central to mark the start of the Louis Vuitton America Cup on April 15.

During the celebrations, Prada and Bertelli also threw a more intimate dinner in a space designed by Rem Koolhaas' think-tank division, AMO. The gathering was attended by a glowing Demi Moore (in a chic black Prada mini, flashing the peace sign to everyone), Ashton Kutcher, Chloe and her brother, Paul Sevigny, Inés Sastre, Catalina de Austria, Beatriz de Orléans, Eugenia Martínez de Irujo, Andre Leon Talley, Francesco Vezzoli and Stefano Tonchi.

Guests grazed on goodies such as truffle-infused mozzarella, which were provided by El Bulli, one of Spain's top restaurants. While they toasted the start of the world’s most prestigious sailing regatta, which was set to begin the following Monday, Mother Nature, however, had other ideas. Lack of winds meant that the boats had yet to set sail on Thursday (April 19).
