“I have little spiders crawling up me everywhere,” giggled Caprice as she showed off Scott Henshall’s £1 million web-inspired couture creation at the London premiere of Spider-Man 3 on Monday night. “Even on my bum!” Caprice joined guests Claudia Schiffer, Arsenal footballer Fredrik Ljungberg and singer Jamelia to welcome Spider-Man back to London.

The film’s stars - Tobey Macguire, Kirsten Dunst and Thomas Haden Church – also flew in for the evening. For Dunst, who wore a black Rodarte dress, the trip was not just about work since it gave her a chance to indulge her Anglophilia. “I like the pubs, the shopping and the British humor,” said Dunst. “And they have the best music too.”There was no way Dunst could leave out the music part since she’s currently dating Brit rocker Johnny Borrell from Razorlight. “The Borrell and the Dunst,” said Borrell’s friend, English comedian and actor Noel Fielding. “It’s quite weird, innit!”

Music remained a theme of the red carpet chatter. “The Edge and Bono love Spider-Man,” boasted Avi Arad, the film’s producer. According to him, U2 are even up for the challenge of turning the blockbuster into a musical. Mary Poppins, eat your heart out!
